Guava is a small tropical tree or shrub from the Myrtaceae family that is cultivated for its edible fruit. Fresh guavas are characterized by a cream-coloured flesh that is crunchy and slightly sweet in taste. All fruits are hand-picked and of the best quality. Guavas go well with both sweet and savory dishes. Guava fruits are also processed into jams, jellies and preserves and are common fillings for pastries.
