Nutmeg Powder is made by crushing the dry nutmeg into finest powder. It has versatile properties that has a warm, nutty flavor.
Nutmeg Powder is used to enhance the flavors of many dishes. It can be added to beverages such as tea, hot chocolate, warm milk and coffee. It is also used in baking cakes, donuts, cookies and breads. It can be sprinkled on oatmeal to serve as a healthy breakfast.
Besides being an exotic spice, nutmeg is used in cooking, a pinch of the ground powder - are used to make soups, meat gravies, roulades, and even desserts. The spice is also a regular feature in Mughlai cuisine, being used as part of the various masala mixes for the meat preparations.
