Recipe suggestion: Lamb Balti

For 2 persons

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, diced
70g - 1/4 jar Patak's Balti Curry Paste
300 g diced lamb
200g chopped tomatoes, fresh or tinned
100ml water
1 tsp fresh, chopped coriander leaf (optional)

Preparation:

In a medium frying pan, fry the onions in oil until golden.
Stir in Patak's Balti Curry Paste, add lamb and fry until thick.
Add tomatoes and water, mix well and cover the pan. Simmer on low heat for 30 minutes until the meat is cooked.

Serve garnished with chopped coriander leaves (optional).

Also tastes good with beef, chicken or vegetables.

Patak's curry pastes are refined blends of freshly ground spices and herbs, preserved in vegetable oil to retain their freshness. Mixed with yoghurt, they can be used as a marinade before cooking; cooked with onions and tomatoes, they make a delicious sauce for meat, poultry, sea fish or vegetables.

Patak Kashmiri Masala Paste is an authentic spice blend for Kashmiri curry.

Ich verwende Patak's schon sehr lange und bin immer wieder begeistert. Es ist ein absolutes Musthave für indische Gerichte und "indisches Feeling".
