Winery: The winery is located in Nashik, north-east of Mumbai in the Indian state of Maharashtra. It was founded in 1996 by Ranjeev Samant, an engineer formerly employed in California's Silicon Valley. Its winemaker is Californian Kerry Damskey. Starting with 12 hectares, the vineyards now cover 600 hectares and are planted with the red wine varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz and Zinfandel, as well as the white wine varieties Chenin Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier.
