Jackfruit, also known as nangka, is the second largest fruit in the world, only pumpkins are bigger. The fruit of the evergreen jackfruit tree can weigh up to a hundredweight. Inside are numerous, sack-like individual fruits. The sweet pockets of pulp surrounding the seeds are removed from the ripe fruit and gently dried. You can therefore obtain jackfruit from us in raw food quality. Its exquisite taste is reminiscent of figs or mild honey.

Meine erste Jackfrucht habe ich frisch auf einem Markt in Thailand gegessen. Sie hier in Deutschland in Dosen zu bekommen ist ein echte High light, für das ich sehr dankbar bin und es daher schon wiederholt gekauft habe und immer wieder sehr zufrieden bin. Gerne wieder.

Endlich wieder Jackfrucht essen können!!!! Ich bin sooooo dankbar, dass india store DAS anbietet. Nach Mango ist Jackfrucht die leckerste Frucht der Welt. Die kaufe ich garantiert wieder. Großes Lob an die Verpackung: schwere Konserven zusammen mit Papadams so zu verschicken, dass die zerbrechlichen Papadams völlig intakt bleiben
