Wine has been produced in India for centuries, however it is the contemporary producers in the picturesque Nasik valley on the Kumbh Mela pilgrimage, that are reviving the craft. India is a beautiful country that bombards your senses from every angle and the soul tree wines are no exception.

Nose: Aromatic, bright, and pleasantly herbaceous
Palate: Crisp, pleasant spices with good texture and nice finish
Serve: Well Chilled (8-10°C). Goes well with salads, seafood, and curries
Crisp, herbaceous, pleasant, and exhibits excellent balancing acidity. The herbaceous character and acidity of this Sauvignon go well with spicy vinegary vindaloos, Goan curries such as xacuti, and curries that use tamarind as a souring agent. It also pairs well with fragrant Thai green curry. This Sauvignon Blanc is also refreshing as it cuts through the richness of many coconut-based sauces such as South Indian - Kerala Meat Stews. It is also rather good with the oily sweetness of fish, making it perfect with most fish curries but especially those with a tangy tomato or tamarind base.
Indian fish, pork & chicken dishes, in particular curries and bases that have a tangy vinegar, tomato or tamarind edge; coconut based spicy curries; spicy fried fish and chicken; Afro-Caribbean spicy BBQ sauces (a la West Indian Hot Sauce), spicy Tabasco & Cayenne based sauces on chicken (a la Louisiana Hot Sauce); and spicy Afro-Portuguese ‘birds eye chilli’ based sauce, marinated chicken & fish (ala Peri-Peri sauces).
