Chand Bujh Gaya is a musical love story in the backdrop of communal riots in Gujarat followed by Godhra incident. The film narrates the love story of a Hindu boy, played by Faisal Khan, and a Muslim girl, Shama Sikander, against the backdrop of the sectarian strife in the state that claimed more than 1,000 lives, the majority of them Muslims. The film also depicts the Godhra train burning that claimed 59 lives and sparked the statewide violence.
Shart: Karan has a habit of involving himself in all types of challenges and mostly he wins. While Karan and Sonam go about singing and dancing, there comes a moment when an argument develops between them regarding 'Love'. They argue on the topic of how love blossoms between a boy and a girl. Sonam believes in 'Love at first Sight' while Karan opposes that theory vehemently saying 'Love at first sight' is nothing but infatuation. True love generates with acquaintance and friendship. She does not agree with him.
Asoka traces the life of Emperor Asoka, the grandson of Chandragupta Maurya who ascended the throne of Magadha in the 3rd century BC. To extend the borders of his empire, Asoka waged one of the bloodiest wars in history with the neihgbouring kingdom of Kalinga, leaving it ravaged and devastated. Confronted by the aftermath of his conquest in which hundreds of thousands lost their lives, Asoka is overcome with remorse and renounces the path of war to dedicate his life to spreading the teachings of Budhism across the world. This is a story based on legends. This film does not claim to be a complete historical account of Asoka�s life but an attempt to follow his journey.
